Extraction
If a tooth is severely eroded or damaged, an extraction may be the only option. The dentist can carry out the treatment himself or, if necessary, refer you to an oral surgeon.
Surgical extraction
Enclosed wisdom teeth or chipped teeth are removed during a minor surgical procedure.
Implantology
An implant is a tooth root replacement which is placed in the jawbone during a minor surgical procedure. This is often done under local anaesthesia. A crown can be placed on the implant. If you miss several elements, a bridge bolted onto several implants is also a possibility. It is also possible to have a prosthesis on implants: we call this a click prosthesis
